Jo and Aidan Raill

Jo Rail

I am a ceramic artist. Sometimes I make mugs and plates but mostly I make sculptures. I use clay to explore my garden and life philosophies. I love the way clay holds my hand marks. All my recent work highlights the malleable nature of clay and its ability to capture gestural marks.

At Half Pint Pottery there is a small pottery school, two studios, mug shop and Half Pint gallery.

The gallery is open most weekends and is full of work made by the resident artists Jo Raill and Aidan Raill. We also host guest ceramic artists/potters several times a year. Check out the website to see what is on.
