Jillian has been painting in oil for several years. Her work reflects a narrative style, often incorporating iconic buildings and people. Her studio is at her home, and she will open it for the first time in 2021.

Marlene has exhibited successfully in Waikato and Franklin. Her gallery displays mostlu subjects in acrylic and pastel paintings along with needle nuno felted miniature dogs and a variety of handcrafted gifts. Marlene has been a maker for many years.

A yearning to come home to Auckland, and an understanding husband, has enabled me to open my studio/gallery – Gallery 61. I paint in oils, the depth and richness highlighting the beauty of Aotearoa. My varied work is held in collections throughout New Zealand and overseas. 18 months ago I opened my studio/gallery to a small group of local artists. I hope to include the talented work of this little group in my gallery during this year’s art trail. I am also an author and illustrator of children’s books. My books are in English and Te Reo and I will be signing them in my gallery.

The gallery has one of a kind art and metal sculptures made from repurposed materials. All pieces are made with a variety of weird and wonderful objects. My creations started life as household items like kitchen utensils or everyday objects we tend to throw away. My sculptures have been crafted into interesting forms that would look good in any home.
Riverhaven Artland is being built out of love. When Guy Blundell’s wife Sue died over 20 years ago he started planting trees with a view of creating an arboretum. Inspired by English Landscape Architect Capability Brown he planted thousands of ornamental trees and now many years later Riverhaven looks like a park.
Along the way he fell in love with Sculpture and a new seed was planted. He decided he would make Riverhaven a Sculpture Park, to share his love of the land and Art with others. Together with his daughter Katie (Katie Blundell Artist) they are making his dream a reality.
We offer group guided tours and seasonal events.

Lynda Jane enjoys many art forms and subjects, though loves to paint; especially mountains, trees and the ocean. Having lived in Franklin most of her life, she is often inspired by the beauty of this area. Her award winning contemporary style is often fun and bold or emotive in watercolour or acrylic. She exhibits her work at the Pollok Art and Crafts Cooperative. Commissions welcome.

Marietta Coney born in Auckland has been painting for 25 years, her preferred choice of subject matter being still life. These striking, well-executed works successfully marry familiar objects with forms of flora and fauna.
