Aimee Reynolds has lived in the Franklin area all her life. She is passionate about art and lives a very creative life. She has a Certificate in Art Therapy from Waikato University and also as a young person went to Carrington University where she did an Art and Craft Design course. She is inspired daily by her family and nature.
Artisans Alcove is a “wellbeing through creativity” initiative supported by Waiuku Family Support Network. A place for Artisans to showcase & express themselves and for people to have an opportunity to purchase their art.

Lynda Jane enjoys many art forms and subjects, though loves to paint on driftwood or canvas; especially mountains, trees and the ocean. Having lived in Franklin most of her life, she is often inspired by the beauty of this area. Her award winning contemporary style is often fun and bold or emotive in watercolour or acrylic. She exhibits her work at the Pollok Art and Crafts Cooperative. Commissions welcome.

Katie Blundell is a mixed media Artist with a Masters of Fine Art from Elam School of Fine Arts, Auckland University. Using common thoughts and feelings that come along with being human, her work is personal and universal. Her artwork is enjoyed by many collectors both here and abroad. Recently she has opened her own Gallery and Studio in Clevedon where she creates, exhibits and teaches. The gallery + Studio in Clevedon will be closed during the Franklin Art Trail weekend (26, 27, 28th October 2024 as Katie will be exhibiting at the Franklin Art Centre during the Trail with her ‘Going To Seed’ Exhibition. (26 & 27 Oct only).
