Jane Thorne has exhibited both locally and internationally. Insects are the dominant feature in her paintings, and she is influenced by earlier years studying museology and more recently, a fascination with old wallpapers and history. The insects are typically arranged to suggest deeper meanings and details to draw the viewer in. Jane has also illustrated several children’s books and welcomes visitors to her home/studio.
