Terry Scott

Terry Scott

Terry Scott finds the amazing changing landscapes of his home country NZ, and the diverse range of timbers available continuing inspiration for his woodturning. Such an environment fosters Terry’s innate passion and life long commitment to all things wood. In recent years his work has evolved and my creations can now be viewed in terms of wood art. Terry is honoured to have many such pieces residing in notable collections world wide.

Margaret Bray says, “Combinations of Art, Conservation, Community and Family are driving forces that guide my life; It’s exciting to redefine something, the heap of remnant scraps that have collected over decades, transformed by arrangement into an article, to be read – soft clay turned to stone to help nourish and serve the bearer, and an compulsion to memorialise time in light; captured by camera.”
